Mining Rant

Having recently started to mine again, I think that some changes should be made to the skill so that you could get more ores per rock. Perhaps, at double the level to mine the ore, you could get the ability to mine two at a time. For example, at 30 Mining you could mine 2 iron ores at the same time. At 45, you could mine 3 at a time, all the way up to 90, or 6 at a time. Now, this would change of course for level 1 items, possibly every 10 levels or so you get one more ore a rock, but this would be a good way to get XP, because Mining is such a hard skill to level up. I'd also like the XP for rune essence to be the same as tin or copper, because then I would have more of an incentive to mine it not only for the cash value. I mean, 5 XP per essence? Come on!
